Hoy, vuelvo a uno de los lugares más increíbles que he visistado, Mont Saint-Michel, una fortificación en una isla en una región de Francia llamada Normandía. Este lugar es un hito del mundo. No pude quitar mis ojos de él una vez que lo vi, tiene tanta historia y te hace sentir como en una película real. Realmente no sabes cuando los caballeros en sus caballos vienen a por ti con sus espadas. Es realmente algo loco de ver porque está ubicado en el medio del agua, lejos de la tierra, y fue construido para ser defendido por los conquistadores. La abadía está rodeada de agua que va y viene tan rápido que te quedas con la boca abierta, es increíble ver el mar retirarse y volver a cubrir la arena que estaba frente a tus ojos.
Durante este día inolvidable, comenzamos con un buen almuerzo típico francés y aperitivos con vino y queso francés totalmente una comida deliciosa para esta colombiana que esta acostumbrada a sus sancochos costemos. Solo usé una camiseta, leggins y zapatos tenis. A veces no se trata de estar a la moda, sino cómodo. Estuve allí durante el final de agosto y hacía un clima muy cálido, caminé y caminé todo el lugar porque realmente hay mucho que ver. Si puedes ver el mundo, te recomiendo que vayas a este sitito. Lo que me gusta de este lugar es que, una vez más, muestra cuán poderosa es la humanidad. Creando algo de la nada. Viajar por el mundo te recuerda todas las cosas que puedes lograr cuando realmente las quieres en tu vida. A Colombian Walking in the Clouds
Today, I go back to one of the most amazing places I have been Mont Saint-Michel, an island in a region of France called Normandy. This place is a landmark of the world. I could not take my eyes away from it once I got this fortification that has so much history and makes you feel like in a real movie. It is really something that is crazy to watch because it is located in the middle of the water far from land and it was built that way to be defended by conquerors. The abbey is surrounded by water that comes and goes so fast, it is incredible to watch the sea retreat and come back to cover the sand that was just in front of your eyes.
During this unforgettable day, we started with a nice lunch with wine and French cheese totally a delicious meal. It was a nice experience for this Colombian girl who loves her homemade Colombian soup J I wore just a T-shirt, leggings and tennis shoes. Sometimes is not about being fashionable, but comfortable. I was there at the end of August and it was really warm weather, I walked and walked the entire place because really there is so much to see.
