¡Dicen que recordar es vivir! Mis ALOHAS o mis AMORCITOS, hoy es prueba de ello, les cuento que estoy caminando entre las nubes solo en pensar nuevamente en la aventura que viví en mi viaje a Hawái. Tengo tanto que compartirles y por eso empezare poquito a poquito suave suavecito jajá como dice la canción con el primer lugar que visite llamado el Centro Cultural de Polinesia. Este lugar lo fui a ver porque era muy recomendado por los visitantes que habían estado allí para experimentar una experiencia única de todas las Islas que forman parte de las Polinesia. Decirles que este lugar es maravilloso es poco, es realmente fuera de serie.
Para empezar mi día, fuimos a Hukilau Marketplace, una plaza donde puedes comprar hermosas cosas de recuerdo del parque y donde tuvimos un almuerzo de primera en Pounders Restaurant, llamado así al igual que una playa de surfistas que está cerca del mismo lugar. Aquí pedimos el famoso Pounders fresco Poke, camarones al ajillo, y un delicioso pescadito de Mahi Mahi. Además de dos refrescantes bebidas de jengibre y fruta de la pasión.
Yo diría que lo que más me gusto fue el cariño de la gente en todas partes. No solamente en cada una de las diferentes villas donde te personas de cada isla con sus vestidos típicos te hacen pasar un rato súper agradable con sus cantos, bailes o muy buen sentido del humar mientras te ilustran más acerca de su rica historia y cultura. Esto show en la isla principal de Hawái, Oahu y fue la verdad bien interactiva.
Tuve la oportunidad de caminar por todo el parque conociendo cada Isla como pueden ver en las fotos, que llegue el punto que me quite mis altos zapatos que, aunque cómodos no pueden igualarse a mis sandalias bajitas que deje en el hotel 
jajá ya saben siempre se le olvida algo a uno.
En este recorrido me metí, me monte, escale, en todo lo que vi, ya saben cómo me gusta experimentar las cosas de primera mano y por eso pronto les compartiré un video de este lugar tan divertido donde confirme una vez más que la mejor manera de aprender es haciendo las cosas y perdiendo el miedo al público. Como siempre digo igual nunca vas a volver a ver a nadie en tu vida, asi que quien dijo vergüenza
Esta aventura se las recomiendo para toda la familia, los niños aprenden mucho también ya que hay juegos para ellos y yo creo que lo divertido de todo es que uno también se convierte en un niño. ¡Definitivamente muchas actividades físicas que te ponen a mover el cuerpecito así sea con un bailecito o aprendiendo como lanzar flechas que tal esa!
Después de tanta caminata y yo sin zapatos bajitos caminando como en el patio de mi casa necesitaba una buena comelona. ¡Soy chiquita pero como me gusta comer! Y en esa, nos fuimos a un buffet con show en vivo espectacular en Hale Aloha donde te sientan en grupos por mesa y te dan la bienvenida con un collar de flores frescas que les cuento me pareció divino. El buffet lo abren y puedes pasar a comer todo lo que quieras, después de un día tan largo pueden ver mi plato donde puse todo lo extraño que vi en el buffet para probarlo, decir que salí caminando es incorrecto porque salí rodando después de tremendo derroche de comida.
Al finalizar este día fuimos al show que tienen para el público llamado “Respiro de vida” no tengo fotos del show porque no lo permiten, pero les puedo decir que es divino en todo el sentido de la palabra. La escenografía, los actores, el contenido, lo valores que transmite ósea hasta llore. ¡En otras palabras, la familia y el amor por nuestras creencias lo es todo!
En resumen, si vuelvo a Hawái algún día y desde ya les confieso lo quiero hacer, volvería a PCC. ¡Un lugar que te envuelve y enamora con el misterio que envuelve esta cultura tan distinta a la nuestra o a la mía como buena Latina que soy, pero donde definitivamente te hechizan con su encanto! ¡Pronto les compartiré otra aventura de este fascinante viaje! A Curious Explorer in Hawaii
They say that recreating the past is just the same as is living it again! My ALOHAS or LOVES, today is proof of it, I am walking in the clouds when I think once again about my adventures in my trip to Hawaii. I have so much to share and that is why I am starting slowly jajá as the song says. I will start with the first place I visited in Oahu, called the Polynesian Cultural Center. I went to see it because it was highly recommended by visitors who have been there before. A unique place shows you all the islands that are part of Polynesia. Telling you this place is wonderful is little; it is really out of the ordinary. To start my day, we went to the Hukilai Marketplace, a market just like its names says, where you can buy beautiful souvenirs from the park and where we had a first class lunch at Pounders Restaurant, named after a surfers beach that is close by. Here, we ordered the famous Pounders Fresh Poke, garlic shrimp, and a delicious Mahi Mahi fish in addition to two refreshing ginger drinks and passion fruit. I would say that what I liked the most was the food, but I will be lying! What I enjoyed the most was the affection of people everywhere. In each of the villas representing the culture of every island in which islanders make sure you have a pleasant time showing you their songs, dances or their amazing sense of humor while they illustrate more about their rich history and culture. I had the opportunity to walk around the park as you can see in the photos. I got to the point in which I removed my high tall shoes that, although comfortable can not match my little cute flat sandals that I forgot back at the hotel;) hahaha yes, I know you are always forget something Stefani. In this tour I climbed in everything I saw I could get on top. You know how I like to experience things firsthand and that’s why I’ll soon share a video of this fun place. As I always say, you need to have fun and don’t care about being shy. At the end of the day, you’ll never see anyone again in your life!
This adventure is recommended for the entire family, children learn a lot as well as there are games for them, which is really the reason is so much fun, you literally become a little child. Definitely, many physical activities that get you to move your body. After so much walking, I needed a good eating. I’m small but I like to eat and for that important activity, we went to a buffet with a spectacular live show at Hale Aloha where you sit in groups of six in each table and where you are greeted with a flower lei necklace made from fresh flowers. I found these flowers adorable! The buffet opens up and you can eat everything you want, as you can see the pic of my plate I did not watch for the diet and ate these delicious hawaiian food.
At the end of this day, we went to the show they have for the audience called “Ha Breath of Life” I do not have photos of the show because they do not allow it, but I can tell you that it is divine in every sense of the word. The scenery, the actors, the content, the values the show transmits is beautiful. If I can summarize it, it shows you family is everything and appreciation for our culture should make us proud.
If I ever go back to Hawaii again and I must confess I want to do it already, I would love to go back to PCC with my children. A place that make you fall in love with the mystery that surrounds Polynesia and that is so different but also so similar to the Latino culture.
